Yay! We're Not All Going to Die!

Finally, we had our first snow fall of the season. Its been freezing in freaky places like LA LA Land and South Texas. And Denver has been covered in the white stuff for months now, but the New York City environment has been taking cues from the melting caps and has held out for a long while. I didn't grow up in the snow but I was charmed by its beautiful properties ever since I saw it on screen. As a kid, I used to go skiing and I remember how thrilled I was to see the change in weather from green to white. I am still just as overjoyed by the sight of it. Yay, winter is real, the world isn't going to end tomorrow!!! Two weeks ago when it was 71 degrees on a December day in the city, I really thought our days were numbered on this planet, I'm glad we have a few more chances to frolic in the natural delights.
