Home Alone by Train
I wanted to show you what your art looks like hung on my wall. I wanted to take you home and be next to you. I woulda, coulda, not been able to stop myself from wanting more, but I know your real reasons. In the presence of strangers and closers, I wished you were near, but I know why you're afraid to. I'm glad you're mingling, my dear. You know I'm down but not every time. I like to argue, yes, but I like to argue with you. I can't help wish you were just near, I wouldn't even make a move. I have been drinking, and I would just passout anyway. I don't have to be alone right now, thinking. I left before I did stupid things and I put my phone down before I dialed. I flirted with honeys and I combed my hair, I just wanted to be home now.
