got the stitches and packing out of my ear! except for ringing, my hearing is restored basically back to normal.
I can smell again too. It was great to finally smell myself, it's been exactly 6 months, and the nerves are rebuilding.
It's odd the smells that I actually missed?!?
the shock is finally wearing off.
